In a genuine island setting at the centre  of  Grand Cayman

but off the beaten track and away from the tourist crowds

BEACH WEDDINGS

Many couples choose to get married on a Caribbean beach because it can be one of the most beautiful and unique experiences two people can share. The sandy beach and warm turquoise waters in the Cayman Islands have been the setting for countless weddings and honeymoons.

A Caribbean honeymoon at a destination such as Turtle Nest Inn & Condos makes for an unforgettable memory to cherish. The Inn is intimate and off the beaten track, in a quaint and authentic island setting, and our one-bedroom apartments and more spacious condos, are ideal accommodations for honeymooners, much more so than a simple room in a large chain hotel.

We've hosted many, very successful weddings on our beach, with the cost dependent on the preferred options, and we typically handle all arrangements ourselves at no extra charge. The weddings hosted are exclusively for Inn guests – we do not host weddings for outside parties.

The weddings here have varied from the simplest and most intimate -- just the marrying couple, the required Marriage Officer, and one of us as a witness (and photographer, if you bring along a camera) -- to the very elaborate, for up to thirty-six guests, with a sit-down meal on our beach, music, floral arrangements, a professional photographer, etc. And, of course, a significant percentage of our guests at the Inn are honeymooners, whether married on our beach or not.

Every wedding hosted at the Inn is custom-tailored to your individual tastes and budget, and organized in collaboration with the wedding party, with no need to pay for an outside event organizer. The basic fee for marrying in the Cayman Islands, is US$639.00, which includes the services of an accredited Marriage Officer, as well as government permit -- both of which we would arrange for you. Any other options are extra, and depend on your preferences, but there’s no need to spend any more than this.

In terms of a simple and private wedding, aside from the above fee, you’d have to arrive on the island at least a (working) day or two before the ceremony, with your passports, in order to meet with the Marriage Officer in advance, and allow him/her the time to secure the government license. If either of you were previously married, you’d also need to bring a copy of the divorce certificate(s), or in the case of a deceased spouse, provide a copy of the death certificate(s).

If this sounds like what you’re looking for, please let us know mentioning the preferred dates for your stay and for your wedding ceremony, and the number of guests expected, if not for just two. You might also mention any optional preferences for the ceremony, or a budget with which you’d like to work. We’ll get back to you with availability, all lodging options and our best rates, as well as the cost for your wedding.

We’d love to welcome you to the Inn for your honeymoon, and we’d love to host your wedding on our beach, whether the simplest or more elaborate. We’re certain that both your stay and your wedding will make for an unforgettable experience.
